Research suggest that mindfulness helps us tune out distractions and improves our memory and attention skills. It also improves our ability to recall information and helps us regulate our emotions. Those who practice mindfulness can experience a decrease in emotional reactivity and an increase in cognitive focus. Practising mindfulness involves acceptance in that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judgement, meaning there is no right or wrong way to think or feel in a given moment. When we practice mindfulness, we tune into what we’re sensing at the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.
Although we'd recommend attending the full block, the sessions can be attended on an individual basis for £10 / £8 per session - just select the date(s) you can manage.
