Have you heard a lot about mindfulness, but you're a little unsure what it is? Or maybe you've had a regular practice, but this has been solitary, or things have fallen by the wayside. This Mindfulness Day Retreat is a great way to learn more about what mindfulness is and to have the opportunity to practice alongside others - such a different experience to practising alone.
There will be a variety of mindfulness practices offered throughout the day. There will be periods of silence throughout the day, to really enable us to sink into our practice. Although this day is part of an 8-week course, it is also possible to attend it on a stand alone basis.
A vegetarian lunch and tea and coffee will be provided.

The day is suitable both for beginners and experienced practitioners.
Cushions, chairs and some blankets will be provided. You may wish to bring your own blanket for additional comfort, and bring along thicker socks or slippers as we will have our shoes off. People sometimes find a notebook helpful, for personal journaling throughout the day.
