An Hour of Mindfulness - Taster Session - Bonnybridge

Join us for an hour of mindfulness, this is a taster session so no experience is necessary. Mindfulness is a practice that is becoming more and more widely used. If a regular practice is developed, mindfulness can help with us feeling less overwhelmed by life - more responsive to life, rather than being pulled all over the place by our reactions. There is a good evidence base for mindfulness helping with a variety of things such as stress, anxiety, depression, physical pain. It is a way for us to connect with ourselves.

Over the hour we will share some mindfulness practices, and have the chance for some discussion and reflections about our practices. We will also have a chat about whether people would like to see regular mindfulness sessions in Bonnybridge.

Meditation cushions are provided, although if you have your own you may wish to bring them for extra comfort. Please bring along a yoga mat and a blanket for your comfort.
