Join us for a 4-week Qi Gong course. This is suitable for complete beginners, or those with some experience. During this course Phil will be focusing on some of the movements from the Shibashi system.
Why practice Qi Gong?
Qi Gong stimulates energy pathways (meridians), allowing the body to come back into alignment and to boost our natural ability to heal. Qi Gong can help to strengthen and balance out different parts of the body, and to straighten out the kinks caused by stress and busyness. The sequence of movement in Qi Gong creates blood flow and oxygen to the muscles and joints, allowing them to heal and strengthen. The combination of gentle movement, deep focused breathing and mindful focus creates a state of balance and calmness, which can combat the stresses of daily life.
