Join us for a 6-week Mindful Parenting course. This is aimed at parents and carers of young children and young teens. During the course we will be looking initially at our own wellbeing, noting that how we are directly affects how our children are. We know that how we are, how we respond to the stresses and strains of daily life, impacts more on our children than anything that we say to them. We need to be able to show our children how to respond to the emotional stressors in life - rather than being pulled along reactively to these.
In this 6-week course we learn how to be more present for our children, how to be with our difficulties without being overwhelmed and how to bring a sense of calm and ease into family life. As well as having the opportunity to share practices in the sessions, there is a handbook full of practices to share with your children.
The 6-week course costs £150, £120 for concessions. I also have subsidised places available - get in contact to discuss. It is possible to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit at this stage, and to set up a payment plan. Payment much be made in full by the end of April.
Please note that one of the sessions is on a Friday.
