This are an introductory sessions for Qi Gong. Qi Gong can be used as a complementary treatment for various common ailments. Practicing Qi Gong can help to improve overall health and wellbeing and reduces mental and physical stress.
In this 7-week block we'll learn Level 1 Shibashi. There are 18 moves in Shibashi, over the 7 weeks we'll spend time learing all of these, putting them together to form the full set. Shibashi is based around the 5 elements, bringing in balance to both body and mind.
Although Qi Gong is usually practiced from a standing position, all of these moves can be adapted to do from a chair.
Our 7-week block starts on Tuesday 13th January 11-11.45am, running for 7 consecutive weeks. It's £45.50 to come along, with a reduced rate available for anyone who could not otherwise afford to attend. It is also possible to attend on a drop-in basis - there's a different link to book in this way. This class is included in membership. There is the opportunity to contribute to our pay-it-forward scheme, helping to subsidise our reduced rate spaces. You can do this by paying an additional £1. If you are able to, please select this option.
