We have previously obtained funding to run free sessions on Friday mornings. This has been a mix of different activities, all designed to help improve wellbeing - physically, mentally, emotionally - or sometimes all three!

Although our funding ran out at the end of October 2024, some of our community members are volunteering their time to continue to hold sessions. These are now £5 to attend, as we no longer have funding to cover our costs. See below for what’s coming up.

We offer a wide range of different activities, from mindful workshops to song-writing sessions to creative workshops - art, poetry, writing - the variety means that there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Self-Acceptance Workshop - Friday Wellbeing

In this workshop I'll share some techniques to help us unhook from our internal self-critic - which can be loud and unyielding. I'll offer a technique from ACT (Acceptance Commitment Training) to unhook from negative self-beliefs, which can hold us back and get us down.

When we learn to listen to our self-critic less, we start to move toward self-acceptance, which can feel freeing.

Wild swimming offers a host of benefits, from increasing feelings of happiness and satisfaction to reducing anxiety and helping with inflammation. There's also a great sense of community that comes from swimming together, and it can help to build feelings of resilience.
