We have previously obtained funding to run FREE dessions on Friday mornings. This has been a mix of different activities, all designed to help improve wellbeing - physically, mentally, emotionally - or sometimes all three!
Although our funding ran out at the end of October, some of our community members are volunteering their time to continue to hold sessions. These are now £5 to attend, as we don’t have funding to cover our costs. See below for what’s coming up.

Poetry - Friday Morning Wellbeing Session
This session will encourage the appreciation of poetry. It will invite the group to bring a favorite poem to share at the end of the session. During the session participants are invited to write a poem of their own using prompts from the tutor.

Diamond Art - Friday Morning Wellbeing Session
Join us for a session on Diamond Art. You may or may not be familiar with this crafting technique, which has been gaining popularity over the last few years. It's a little like painting by numbers, but instead brightly coloured gems are affixed onto a background to create a beautiful picture.

Wheel of Life - Friday Morning Wellbeing Session
Join Susie for a session to explore the wheel of life. This is a group coaching session, helping you to make sense of where you are in life right now - the things that are going well, and the things you might want to change.

Creative Writing - Friday Wellbeing Session
Ready to spark your imagination + break through the blank page?
Grab a pen (or fire up that keyboard) + join me for a fun, hands-on session full of playful writing experiments.
We’ll dive into imaginative prompts, roll storytelling dice to stir up ideas and explore an activity that reveals the twists + turns of storytelling consequences.

Reflexology - Friday Morning Wellbeing Session
Reflexology is one of the most powerful natural therapies for counteracting stress and tension. It’s easy to use and deeply relaxing and works on the bodies power to heal itself.

May Yoga Play-Day
Come and engage with yoga based movement infused with the essence of playfulness with Lindsey of Yoga-Nu-U. There will be inclusive and accessible variations offered and a guided relaxation to end with.

Board Games Morning
Join us for a relaxed morning playing Board Games. You can bring something along you'd like to play, or use a game that’s here.

Indian Head Massage
This session will demonstrate how to carry out a 30 minute Indian Head Massage to treat self and friends and family. It will give participants the opportunity to try out the technique and also to receive a treatment.

Belly-Dancing for Confidence
"Belly-Dancing is one of the oldest forms of dance.It promotes balance,strength, digestion, co-ordination and confidence.” The class will include dancing and confidence coaching.

Encouraging Creative Play – Mindful Drawing Challenges
Sometimes silly and sometimes thoughtful, these creative drawing challenges allow you to be free to play, think and create without the burden of needing to produce a “work of art”.

Butterfly Watercolours
Beginner, intermediate or expert in Watercolours this is for all levels. So come and join us to make effortlessly pretty Butterflies that can be realistic or imaginative it's completely up to you.

This is for anyone who wants to learn better ways to deal with common problems like anxiety, low self-confidence, poor sleep and panic.

Harnessing our Heart Energy with Yoga Based Practices
Enjoy warm-hearted yoga based practices with Lindsey of Yoga-Nu-U including gentle Hatha yoga mat based movement, hand mudras and a guided relaxation.

Overdose Awareness and Naloxone Training
This session is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills and confidence in what to do in an overdose situation. Learning how to respond to an overdose ahead of time is crucial, as every second counts in an emergency.
