Earth and Soul Creative Workshop - Bonnybridge
We have received funding from the Kelvin Valley and Falkirk CLLD Fund to hold a series of creative workshops, to make a variety of different items for our outside space. Themes of the workshops include recycling (and upcycling), reducing waste and promoting circular economy principles.
There are 10 workshops in total, come to them all - or just make the ones you can.
Wellbeing Book Club: Online
Our Book Club meets every 2 months, to discuss a book based around wellbeing.
In this meet-up, we're going to be discussing "The Little Book of Sanuk: The Thai Secret to a More Joyful Life"" by Karen Sinotok.

Lunch Club - Bonnybridge
Join us for a monthly Lunch Club - a time to get together to socialise over some food. We know that many people eat lunch alone - perhaps you work from home, or you live by yourself. Eating can be a communal occasion.
Our monthly Lunch Club is held on the first Tuesday of every month, by our volunteer Lee.

Join us for a relaxed creative session where we will transform a mixture of metal sculptural forms into unique upcycled garden masterpieces! Using colourful, folk art style images as inspiration, you will hand paint the piece with bright, bold simplistic forms, transforming it into a unique sculpture for the outdoor space.

Strength and Stretch with Andrew: 3-week Block - Bonnybridge
Combining both bodyweight and stretching exercises, this class will help to strengthen your muscles whilst improving your flexibility.
The class will involve an upper and lower body section where every bodyweight exercise is followed up with stretching in between.
The exercises can be modified to match your fitness levels.
Craft Cafe - Bonnybridge
Our Craft Cafes are a space for relaxation and companionship. Come along and bring your craft to work on. If you haven't got anything to work on you could do some colouring in or papercraft or you may want to have a cuppa and a blether whilst watching others create. We will have some crafting materials available for a donation.
Sunday Mindfulness: Bonnybridge
An invitation to come together and practice mindfulness meditation.
There are many benefits attributed to mindfulness practice. Both physical and mental health have been shown to improve, for example:
Lowering blood pressure
Reduction in stress and anxiety
Improved relationships.
Sauna & Dip (Largo Castaway Sauna)
Join Susie for a Sauna & Dip experience. Yes - the water will be cold, but the sauna will be hot! This is a great time of year to really experience the benefit of hot/cold therapy. You are in complete control of how long you spend in the water (and you don't have to go in at all).
An Morning of Rest & Relaxation - Bonnybridge
Join Jen and Susie for a morning of deep rest and relaxation.
We will begin the event with some gentle somatic movements before resting for a while in our restorative postures. This session is accessible to anyone who can get down onto the mat - we don't keep standing up and getting back down - once you're down, we stay there until the end of the session!

Reiki is a safe, gentle, and relaxing healing method which can be learned and used easily by anyone.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
Welcoming Spring Afternoon Retreat in the Salt Caves
Join me for a special afternoon retreat, held in the Salt Caves.
We'll have some gentle movement together, a Yoga Nidra and some time to enjoy a silent meditation in the amazing atmosphere of the salt caves. This afternoon is themed around welcoming Spring. Brew Monday - Connect over a cuppa - Bonnybridge
Brew Monday is all about catching up over a cuppa - taking time to connect with others.
This is an initiative by the Samaritans, on what some term "Blue Monday". They say: "At Samaritans we know there’s no such thing as ‘Blue Monday’ and that feeling low isn’t just something that happens on Mondays or a random day in January. So we say out with the blue and in with the brew!"

Standing at the Edge Study Group - Online
Join us for a Study Group to explore "Standing at the Edge" by Joan Halifax. The author is a Buddhist teacher, Zen Priest and anthropologist. She has identified five psychological experiences that she calls Edge states - altruism, empathy, integrity, respect and engagement. It is only when we stand at these edges that we become open to the full range of human experience and discover who we really are.

Held in the afternoon, with the Wolf Moon expected to appear before we leave the session (fingers crossed!), this afternoon is going to be a lazy start back following the festivities, and will help us welcome in this brand new year.
The Wolf Moon, is the first full moon of the year and serves as a symbolic fresh start.
Move to the Music: Bonnybridge
A themed class to music with lots of movement and dance moves. Full of high energy and guaranteed to have lots of laughs.
This month the theme is a "Hogmanay Bash" - dress up if you want to - the choice is yours! Come and dance off some of Christmas, in that funny time in-between Christmas & New Year.
This class will burn with all the fun. Wear comfortable clothes and bring along some water.
