Chair Yoga - 7-Week Block - Thursday Evening - Bonnybridge

Join us for Chair Yoga Sessions. Chair Yoga can really make movement more accessible, we don't need to worry about getting down onto the mat - we sit in a way that's comfortable for us. There will always be a range of options offered for every movement, so you can choose the one that best fits you.

All of my Chair Yoga sessions are underpinned by the theme of "self-acceptance" - learning to move with the body in accordance with our own abilities. We take time to really tune into our bodies - moving in a way that's right for us. There are no expectations that we can all move in the same way - you find the way that's right for you.

This 7-week block is themed around the chakras - each session we'll explore a different chakra. We'll have a meditation focused on each chakra, as well as movement designed to help balance our chakras. Come to the whole set, or drop-in when you can. The weeks will look like this:

15th January - Root Chakra

22nd January - Sacral Chakra

29th January - Solar Plexus Chakra

5th February - Heart Chakra

12th February - Throat Chakra

19th February - Third Eye Chakra

26th February - Crown Chakra

Don't worry if you don't know anything about the chakras, this is for complete beginners. And if you're not interested, we'll still be having movement and meditation - so you're still welcome!

These sessions take place on Thursdays 6.15-7pm. The block starts on Thursday 15th January.

This is a 7-week block- by booking for the full block, you get one session half price. It's £45.50 for the block, with reduced rates available - please pick the price that best fits your circumstances. Members can book in for free by using their membership discount code. There is the opportunity to contribute to our pay-it-forward scheme, helping to subsidise our reduced rate spaces. You can do this by paying an additional £1. Meet Your facilitator:

Susie is the co-founder of Pause & Breathe - a social enterprise that prioritises making wellbeing fully accessible. She is an accredited Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness teacher, Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Facilitator, Qi Gong and Chair Yoga Facilitator and is just about to start training to teach Nia Dance.

Susie is passionate about creating safe spaces where participants can form connections and find community. She works with people to help them find self-acceptance, emotional balance and to get to know themselves better.
