This yoga nidra is based around water – the water elements links with winter, and the colour blue. When we think about characteristics of water, we think about being cool, calm, hopeful, protected, cleansed, relaxed and it feels reassuring. Many of us have favourite bodies of water that we visit again and again and again.
Water can be soothing, yet it can also be fierce – it can stir up energy, or calm it down. As this is a relaxation practice, I’m inviting it to soothe and calm us more – but this might not be your experience, and that’s absolutely OK. See if you can go with whatever arises.
Water is also the element for winter - tuning into water during this season can help us to find our sense of balance.
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation meditation, designed to get you to that place between being awake and being asleep - where the magic can happen.
This session is being held by Susie online on Tuesday 27th January 8.45-9.30pm. It's £7 to attend, we have a reduced rate if this is unaffordable. If you would like access to the recording for 30 days after the session, to listen to again as many times as you'd like to, select the £10 option for this. There is the opportunity to contribute to our pay-it-forward scheme, helping to subsidise our reduced rate spaces. You can do this by paying an additional £1.
