Kid's Kempo Karate - Free Trial - Bo'ness

We are holding two free trials for our brand new Kempo Karate Class for kids. This is for children aged between 5-12. They are welcome to come along to either session, or both - give it a try and see if they like it.

There are many benefits of Karate, including:

• Building confidence and self-belief

• Helping kids to stay active and strong

• Teaching focus and calm thinking

• Encouraging respect and good manners

• Improving balance and co-ordination

• Supporting positive social skills

Phil from Kuroyaki Ryu will be the lead facilitator.

We have two free trial sessions: Mondays 11th and 18th May 6-6.50pm. This is the time of the class that will continue after these dates. If your child(ren) enjoys it and wants to sign up, membership is £30 per month with a family discount for more than one child attending from the same family. Meet Your Facilitator:

Phil is a well-recognised Martial Arts teacher, specialising in Japanese Ju-Jitsu. Phil is a 7th Dan, and has been inducted into the World's Martial Arts Hall of Fame as National Instructor of the Year (2023). Phil has over 45 years experience in Martial Arts. He has his own club, Kuroyaki-Ryu, which is part of Pause & Breathe. Phil has been teaching Qi Gong for Pause & Breathe since 2019, he specialises in energy and is a Reiki Master.
