Start your weekend off by joining a small group of women for a Meander, Meditate & Make wellbeing session. Led by Caroline Muirhead, a local artist (Green at Heart Art Studio, Dunipace) and Susie Hooper, a wellbeing facilitator and founder of Pause & Breathe, Bonnybridge, you are invited to leave the busyness of life behind for a few hours for a powerful combination of nature, nurture and relaxation.
We will begin by meeting at Green at Heart rural art studio (https://bit.ly/4aolm33) where the group will start their gentle mindful meander across farmland (approx 20min walk) towards a sheltered area of nearby forest. Once in the forest, we will settle in and spend some time connecting to the natural environment and we will be guided through a short meditation sitting amongst the whispering trees. After some light refreshments, the group can let their creativity flow with some simple eco crafting and making activities in the Green at Heart art studio.
This nature based session encourages you to:
Slow down, unwind and prioritise your own wellbeing
Give back to yourself through the simple act of participation
Deepen your connection with the natural environment
Calm your nervous system and clear your the mind
Use nature as a tool to tap into your creative self
This is a women only event and places are limited. This wellbeing walk is suitable for beginners. Please bring walking boots or wellies as the ground can be rough and muddy in areas. You will also need to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, waterproof or wet weather gear and a walking stick if you like to use one.
