This Yoga Nidra is all about connecting to our inner fire. Sometimes, we can feel burnt out in summer – we try to do too much, to pack too much in – and we don’t always rest enough. Sleep often reduces over summer, and so it’s important to still bring in rest over these lighter months. Our yoga nidra will explore this. It’s really important to make sure you build in enough time for you over the summer months.
We'll touch into our inner fires - the energy that drives us, and the energy that summer brings. There'll be a sense of warmth created in this nidra - both externally and internally.
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation meditation, designed to get you to that place between being awake and being asleep - where the magic can happen.
This session is being held by Susie online on Tuesday 29th July 8.30-9.15pm. It's £7 to attend, we have a reduced rate if this is unaffordable. Meet Your Facilitator:
Susie will be your facilitator for these sessions. Susie worked as a Social Worker within Criminal Justice for 20 years, and is passionate about helping people to make difficult changes. Since the beginning of 2017, Susie has been delivering mindfulness within her local community in Falkirk. She co-founded Pause & Breathe CIC with her husband, Phil Blackburn and is delighted to have opened The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge and The Place for Martial Arts & Wellbeing in Bo'ness - bringing people together in community. Susie is a Mindfulness Coach, Qi Gong and Chair Yoga Facilitator and a certified Daring to Rest Facilitator. Her approach is trauma-sensitive, and she is an advocate of giving participants choice in everything she offers.
