The session will encourage participants to produce a poem/ piece of writing, using various prompts from the tutor.
People often ask, does poetry have to rhyme? No! Nor does it have to be a certain length. If participants finish the session having written one sentence which feels honest, then they’ve written a poem!
Hopefully participants will leave the session knowing that their voice already works and feel confident to keep writing.
Christine from Vision Wellbeing will be the facilitator for this session.
This session is being held on Friday 26th June 10-11.30am, in The Place to Pause & Breathe, Bonnybridge. This includes a break for a hot drink, biscuits and a chat.
These sessions are free, as they have been funded by Falkirk Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing. They are designed to support participant's overall health and wellbeing, increasing community connections and reducing loneliness. Although they are free, please only book in if you are definitely attending as numbers are limited. If you do book in and then can't make it please cancel your booking, as we may have people on the waiting list.
