Mindfulness Foraging Walk: Kinneil Estate

Join us for a Mindful Foraging Walk, celebrating the gifts that Spring has to offer.

We'll start with a Mindful Walk around the Kinneil Estate in Bo'ness, before moving to pick some wild garlic which we'll use to make some pesto. We'll enjoy this together with home-made oatcakes, hot drinks will also be supplied.

This walk is being jointly held by Susie and Carys.

Meet Your Facilitators:

Carys Hughes is the director of Nature Connects Therapy and Wellbeing and she has a passion for nature connection and mindfulness, she has a keen interest in health, plants and wellbeing and Carys's passion is to share how nature can bring a wealth of benefits into our lives. Nature can provide us with so many wonderful experiences, we just need to open our hearts to its offerings.

Susie is the co-founder of Pause & Breathe - a social enterprise that prioritises making wellbeing fully accessible. She is an accredited Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness teacher, Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Facilitator, Qi Gong and Chair Yoga Facilitator and is training to teach Nia Dance. Susie is passionate about creating safe spaces where participants can form connections and find community. She works with people to help them find self-acceptance, emotional balance and to get to know themselves better.
